Where do you find Quinoa?
Silly me. I should have elaborated a little more. I was worried the post was getting too long. :-)I have browsed our local grocer's and have not found it there. How sad they don't know this great secret! :-) So, you are better off going to your local "health food" store. We are graced with the presences of E*arth Fare and Wh*le Foods in these parts. Both places carry quinoa in bulk or by the box. A small box runs under $3.00 and measures 2 cups uncooked. This stuff puffs up QUITE a bit when its cooked. It swells like crazy. Its easier than cooking rice! I hope all of you who commented will enjoy this. Since this was the most common question I thought it would be easier to just post again! Happy Wednesday to you!

Thanks for giving us further details. I'll let you know when I actually make this (I have to buy quinoa first). Also, thank your friend for passing along this recipe. I can't wait to print your version out:).
BTW - I was pronouncing quinoa, phonetically. Boy, I was way off! Thanks for letting us know the correct way to pronounce it:).
I'll have to tell Jenny that I have seen quinoa sold at Meijer. It's in box form. Of course, I have never tried the stuff and am going to have to go buy a box.
The photo of Jonas next to your ticker is so cute:). The face he is making is great! He looks like a fun little guy. I can only imagine that you and your husband laugh at all the funny things he does quite often. Adorable!
