Free Spirit

I love the free spirit that children have. They don't know what ordinary is and when they figure it out they probably won't care...for a long time. Jonas is definitely at that exploring age, in regards to everything! Here are a few pictures to capture his every day life.
Did you know it is hockey season? Yeah a lot of people don't. Its not the most watched sport unless you live in Canada. With the help of daddy, Jonas wore daddy's jersey and he thought he was something else. Go Wings!
I love the red hat Jonas is sporting in the last two pictures. It is a hand-me-down from a friend and its sooo cute. If Jonas finds one of his hats around the house, he usually asks to put it on.
Thankfully his boo boo healed up nicely.

First big boo boo...

Day 1
Day 2
Jonas and I had a busy and memorable week. We got to visit with dear friends of mine that we don't see very often. And Jonas got to play with their children and make new friends. We were at our friends, the Griggers' house, and Jonas took a stumble down some brick steps that were outside. It was a beautiful day and the kids were playing in the backyard. Jonas hasn't mastered stairs yet and this is the result. I wasn't too far away when it happened so my adrenaline was rushing as I was running towards him. He was bleeding and crying. Thankfully there are no deep cuts or scrapes. His tears dried quickly as it was time to eat lunch. He is a tough little guy.
I don't look forward to all the injuries to come in life!
