My name is Sarah Johnson Barker and I will be updating our family blog. I married Joe Barker August 12, 2000. We were blessed with the birth of Jonas Charles on July 3rd, 2006. Then, baby Ivy was born November 11, 2008. Joe works in law enforcement and I work part time from home as a sales contractor. We are excited that God has allowed us to experience parenting. Most of our blogs will probably surround that challenge!

You know I think part of it is the angle of the picture. He almost looks like a giant baby. When he is stretched out he doesn't look that fat at all! :-)
Jonas is adorable. He looks like a deep thinker for such a little one. Isn't it fun to take goofy pictures of your baby? I can tell that you love being a mom. I was told that being a parent is the most unselfish thing you will ever do. How true that statement is but the rewards are huge. Enjoy your sweet boy. Each stage is wonderful and special in its own way.
It's so funny you say that about the thinking. He is such a deep thinker! He is like his daddy and grandpa in that way. They are reserved and don't show a lot of emotion and they are shy around large crowds. This is also why he hardly ever laughs out loud!
I'm the extrovert! :-)
