New Hair

Jonas got his first real hair cut Saturday evening. I had snipped a couple pieces back in January, but this time he got a trim all over. I think he looks a little older now. But, very cute! Now its all even and we'll let it grow for a while. Joe had blond curls in the back of his head when he was little. I am betting Jonas will too!
Jonas is speedy crawler in reverse at the moment. His legs keep getting stuck under the furniture. Its so funny. I'll let you know when he puts it in drive. :-)
It's a beautiful day here today. The temperature is about 65 and very sunny. I'm eager for Spring! On the same day, my sister and family made a snowman. They can have all the snow! :-)

Stick'em Up

Baby Jonas is already following the footsteps of his daddy. My friend Amy bought this bib for Jonas. It has a walkie talkie, badge, club etc...sewn into it. I snapped these pictures yesterday after he finished eating.










Whew! Its been a long day dealing with those bad guys! I'm ready for a nap.










Jonas' bottom middle two teeth are popping through his gums finally! I thought they would have come a lot sooner than 7 1/2 months. (if you read one of my previous posts) Also, we are pretty certain he is saying mama. He is rocking on his knees but no crawling yet. But, he can sure get around by rolling and moving in circles with his arms. He seems to love life. He is always happy and smiling. We can't get enough of him. I'm still in awe of calling him OURS!

The Things I Love-Happy Belated Valentine's Day

1. My God-His love has impacted me most in the last year for allowing us to bring a new life into this world. How deep the Father's love for us...







2. My husband-for completing me and loving me even though I am sinful and don't always love him the way God has commanded me to.

3. My Jonas-Wow. What a new kind of love you have taught me. You cause daddy and I to smile so much every day. We have seen a different aspect of God's love through you.















4. My Daisy-you are so sweet and we love treating you as family. (Even though you can be expensive and I'm debating getting pet insurance) :-)

Body Part Collage

I have finally gotten around to taking a picture of one of my FAVORITE things! Before I was ever pregnant I knew I wanted to do a collage of my baby's body parts. These photos were taken when Jonas was 3 months old. The framed collage was a Christmas present for all of us. The first time I saw a collage it was 9 pictures in 9 square boxes. I still like that, but our photograher said they had a new program and new idea for collages. I was open to the idea and this is the result! This is handing in our living room above the piano. They couldn't resist a picture of just Jonas' hair. :-) We loved it too!

Baby Eyes

Jonas and I were playing on the floor the other day. I can't remember why, but he started crying and then quit. His eyelashes were a little wet and looked to pretty. So, I grabbed the camera. You can't tell in these picture's but...

Snow!

It snowed last night! We got about an inch on the ground and it is sleeting. We are supposed to have more icy conditions the rest of the day. So, the town is shut down and we are staying warm in doors today.
We had an answer to prayer this week. We sold some property we had bought a couple years ago. We decided to sell and free up some payments and see what offers come along in a few years to build another house. Maybe we can be neighbors with Joe's sister! That would be fun. We signed a contract the other night with the buyer and come to find out he knows my dad. Its a small world! We had a really nice time fellowshipping with he and his wife. Its neat to see how the Lord works.
Here is another cute video taken a couple weeks ago. Jonas has changed quite a bit since this was taken. He loves yelling and being loud. Its so funny how he has discovered his abilities! He started clicking his tongue recently and he thinks it is so funny. We love this little guy so much. He has brought so much laughter and joy to our lives!
