Ivy Louise Barker
Our Miss Ivy arrived Novemeber 11, 2008 at 5:08 p.m. She weighed in at 8 lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long.This blog needs desperate updating and I hope to do that soon. Ivy is two weeks old now and we are getting used to our new "normal." So, much transpired in the 4 weeks up to her arrival. I will try to update all of that soon. We are doing well and loving our baby girl. Joe is off of work for several weeks and has been a huge blessing and help. He is a great hands on dad! Jonas loves his "sweetie pie" sister. He has been very gentle and loving towards her. He is dealing with all the change in other ways. I guess we feel like we've hit terrible two's lately. Another reason to be thankful for Joe being home!

Yeah! Baby Ivy made the blog. :-) She is so cute!!! I wish I could reach out and hug her through the screen. ha ha Speaking of hugs, you said in your post that Joe has been a "hug help." I hope he's giving you guys lots of hugs. hee hee

I love her chubby cheeks:). How wonderful to have Joe off for a few weeks. It gives you all time to really bond as a family. I hope that you had a nice Thanksgiving!
